"The subscription changes made everything worse"
I used to be fine with the free plan, but after the subscription changes it feels like everything about it got worse. Every app does this eventually, and it just makes the whole thing way less appealing. At this point, I definitely don’t feel like it’s worth paying for either

"IFTTT is great when an applet actually does..."
IFTTT is great when an applet actually does what it’s supposed to do, but the community-made ones feel hit or miss. Some are genuinely helpful and save me a bunch of time, but others seem like they haven’t been touched in years or don’t explain the setup clearly. From the vague descriptions, I kind of assume they’ll be simple to use, then end up spending way too long figuring out why they don’t run right. I still use IFTTT here and there, but it’s not quite as smooth or reliable as I expected.

"Works okay, but the privacy stuff is on them"
The app works fine overall, but I’m not super comfortable linking that many accounts to it. The privacy settings feel more confusing than they need to be, and that’s kind of on them. I just wish they made the data-sharing stuff clearer because it definitely makes me a bit uneasy.

"I’ve been using this for a few small..."
I’ve been using this for a few small automations, and overall it’s been solid. Compared to a few other tools I’ve tried, it’s easier to set up and usually just works in the background. That said, a couple of my applets do miss occasionally, so it’s not perfect, but for simple everyday stuff it’s been reliable enough for me.

"It works with pretty much everything we need"
I was surprised how many apps it connects with. I found all the integrations I needed without much digging, and I think most customers would appreciate how easy it is to get everything set up.

"Always seems to break when I need it"
I swear these applets work fine until the exact moment I actually need them, then they just fail for no reason. Maybe I’m just unlucky, but it happens way too often to feel normal. It’s frustrating because the whole point is to not have to think about it.

"Simple setup, but a little clunky in spots"
Setting up an applet was straightforward. I just chose the trigger and action, and the app walked me through most of it without much confusion. I did have to reconnect my Google account once, but it wasn’t a huge hassle.

I’m taking off a star because a few settings weren’t as easy to find as I expected, and I had to poke around for a bit. Once I figured out where everything was, though, it worked fine and did what I needed.

"Dashboard feels way more complicated than it needs to"
I’m not sure what changed, but the dashboard feels clunky now. I was just trying to find my applets and kept thinking, why is this so complicated? Pages also load kind of slow, so even simple things take longer than they should.

Setup was super easy, and there’s just something about it that made the whole process feel really straightforward.

"IFTTT works fine for simple things..."
IFTTT works fine for simple things, but the moment I try to make a workflow a little more specific, it gets frustrating quickly. Am I missing something, or are a lot of the options just not there unless you pay or use weird workarounds? Some applets feel really locked down, and I was hoping for more control without having to jump through hoops

"IFTTT can be handy when..."
IFTTT can be handy when it actually supports the apps I’m using, but the compatibility feels really inconsistent. Some services are easy to connect, while others are missing the triggers I need or randomly break after updates. I still use it for a few basic automations, but it takes more messing around than I’d like. I just wish more of the integrations worked reliably without so much effort.

"I really like the idea behind this, but..."
I really like the idea behind this, but the phone app keeps freezing on me and my applets fail more often than they should. It gets frustrating because it feels like an avoidable problem if the app were just a bit more reliable.

"Works well, but the free plan hits limits quickly"
I’ve been using IFTTT for a handful of simple automations, and for that it does the job well. After a while though, I started noticing the same pattern: once you set up a few useful applets, the free plan starts feeling tight fast. It’s still fine for my needs since I’m not doing anything too complicated, but I do wish they included just a little more before pushing you toward an upgrade.

"Works most of the time, I think"
I’ve been using it for a bit now—honestly I can’t remember if I started last week or the week before, but the triggers have been mostly right. There have been a couple times where I thought it should’ve fired and didn’t, or maybe it did later and I just missed it. Overall though, it works most times and hasn’t caused me any major issues.

"Support really tested my patience"
I had to wait way too long for support to get back to me, and it felt like I was being forced to just sit there and be patient. When they finally replied, the answers barely helped, so the whole thing was frustrating.

"I tried using ifttt to hook up a..."
I tried using ifttt to hook up a few work apps, mostly for reminders and saving things into spreadsheets. When it actually runs the way it’s supposed to, it does save a bit of time and cuts out some repetitive clicking.
The problem is that some automations are slow or randomly stop working, and I wouldn’t always catch it right away. On top of that, the reminders felt way too aggressive, like it kept nudging me more than helping me. I ended up double-checking everything manually anyway, so it didn’t really feel worth the hassle for me.

"Pretty quick MOST of the time"
ifttt has been fast for me overall. Most of my actions run within a minute or two, which is good enough for my smart home setup. Every once in a while there’s a random delay and I have NO idea why, but it doesn’t happen often enough to really bother me.

"Helpful errors, but sometimes a bit unclear"
Most of the time, when something goes wrong, it actually tells me what happened, which I appreciate. The error messages are usually helpful enough to point me in the right direction. That said, every now and then the communication is vague or confusing, and it gets annoying when I’m left guessing what I’m supposed to do next.

"easy enough to manage my account"
i’ve been using IFTTT for a while now, and the account side of things has been easy to deal with.
changing my email, checking what plan i’m on, and updating my login info were all simple to find. the settings pages don’t feel cluttered or confusing, which i appreciate.

i also had to cancel something once, and it went through without any annoying back and forth. it’s not perfect, but for basic account management, it’s been solid for me...

"Handy for connecting my apps"
I use this to link a bunch of my apps, and for the most part it does what I need. Most of my services connect without much trouble, and the applets usually run fine. There have been a few times where things were delayed or didn’t kick in right away, which is a little annoying, but overall it’s been useful for everyday stuff.
